New technology for a strong, beautiful new tooth
After you have a CEREC crown or inlay, your restored tooth will have up to 95% of the strength it had before. Ceramic crowns and inlays are colour-matched to your own teeth to give a beautiful, natural-looking result.
CEREC vs. traditional restorations
In most cases, a CEREC-designed and -made crown/inlay will be suitable and can be made and fitted in one visit. However, there are some cases when a traditional crown or inlay may be the best option. These are made in a laboratory that is typically in a different location from the dental practice. Because of this, you will usually need two appointments that are two weeks apart.
